The Global Collaborative Program

서브 컨텐츠

The Global Collaborative was created as part of the Academy’s role in fostering a collaborative program between the University of Pennsylvania and Kyung Hee. It was eventually developed into an intensive summer program on “East Asia and Global Governance” in 2006 that brought together undergraduate and graduate students.

The program has created a new paradigm for university education, building on the convergence of education, research, and praxis. The summer program highlights features of 21st century civilization seeking a convergence of diversity and universality.

The program has been run since 2008 under the auspices of Kyung Hee University’s Office of International Affairs. The Global Collaborative includes among its partners: Peking University in China, Ritsumeikan University in Japan, Moscow State University in Russia, the United Nations, and CoNGO. It features classes taught by world-class faculty from Yale University, Princeton University, and the University of California at Berkeley..
