Eligibility

The Global Collaborative Summer Program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students around the world as well as working professionals pursuing interests in Humanity, Civilization and Global Governance. As classes are entirely instructed in English, English competency in discussion and presentation is pre-requisite.

Application Procedures

  • Early Registration: 3/11 ~ 3/31, small gift will be given to early registered students.
  • After submitting your application, it will be reviewed by the administrator and the result of approval will be sent to you by email in 5 business days. In the meantime, you may also check your approval status on the website: Registration – Online Application – Application Status.

Registration & Required Documents

Domestic Students
  • Apply online (http://gafc.khu.ac.kr)
  • KHU Students: No documents required
  • Non KHU Students: Official proof of student status (e.g. official transcripts from home institution, certificate of enrollment, or proof of leave of absence)
  • **IMPORTANT NOTICE For KHU Students ONLY**
    ▶ KHU students who are expected to graduate in August 2019 may participate in the program, however, credits earned from the program will not be counted for their graduation assessment due to the designated academic schedule of KHU.
    ▶ For KHU undergraduate students, a maximum of six credits earned from the summer break may be transferable. Therefore, the total number of credits earned through regular summer session classes, internships and Global Collaborative program should not exceed six.

  • Official proof of student status (e.g. Official transcripts from home institution, certificate of enrollment, or proof of leave of absence)
Working Professionals

  • Passport sized photo (Upload to the online application, maximum file size of 500KB)
  • A copy of passport (Non-Korean only)
  • Signed confirmation form [download form]
  • Proof of English proficiency test (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, TEPS, OPIC, etc), if available
